Blessings and great tidings…unto you a savior is born.
He changes over time. He suits dressing like a dude of the 20s. With his mustache he looks like a ww1 trench trooper. No homo.
Merry Christmas 42.Thanks for the spider webs and spidery tree one from Ukraine.
Merry Christmas from 2020
Enjoy your lockdowns everybody
Anyone watching this is 2020?
Luke 2:2-7 This was the first registration and it was taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. All went to their own towns to be registered. Joseph also went from the town of Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was descended from the house and family of David. He went to be registered and who was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Merry Christmas to all Christians and Catholics people all over the world.
the horses skull one really gave me chills

1000th comment lesgo!
on some of the islands around gothenburg, they have a tradition that is basically a small scale non-lethal war. everyone sets up their christmas tree in their back yard and the objective is for your district to get the most trees. they have built tire walls on the road and set them on fire, shot at each other with air rifles (the ones with lead bullets), actually beat each other with sticks and such just to get the most trees. the start it after christmas and "fight" until easter when they burn the trees in their easter fires, the team with the biggest fire wins
Why can't you pronounce "th" sounds properly? When you are supposed to be saying "three" you sound like you are saying free
It's funny, I'm from Ukraine, but I have never heard this story…
where i live in Transylvania we also do the thing with the shoes, and its saint nick who brings the sweets ..
but this happens on the 6th of December on Saint Nichola's day.. which is basically Santa Claus but still somehow different
(Mikulás in hungarian, Moș Nicolae in romanian.)
And for Christmas, it ISN'T Santa Claus who brings the gifts but baby Jesus (Jézuska).. and theres a lot of traditions linked to it, but its dying out due to kids being taught Santa a brings gifts from TV and advertising.
In iceland you forgot to say that we open presents the night of xmas eve
Thank you.
I'm from Latvia and I never heard of the tradition
Mari Lwyd looks terrifying !!! :'(
I do mummer
I guess my towns Christmas situation seems a little less odd now but I think stealing baby Jesus from the churches life sized nativity seen is still pretty weird. They also now sing the Christmas songs from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" because apparently it was the inspiration for Whooville.
The world is a strange place….
In Sweden we eat fermented herring on christmas (y)
i live in Ukraine and ive never heared about the spider web legend
anyone watching this in june
the horse skull reminds me of the dragon dance or lion dance we do in china.
Supraised that he dident talk about the dutch trydishoin
im glad you didn't put norway on the list because the only difference between norway and america/england are we open presents on december the 24.
In Greenland we open presents 24th morning
I've always learned that the 7 trolls are Gryla's children, since she lived in the mountains as well. She also had a cat. And every night for 7 nights, one troll would come down and be mischievous like licking your bowls or spoons or stealing your left shoe.
4:10 I was listening carefuly and drinking beer at the same moment. As you said Latvian i spit all over my desk because i didn't even know that in Latvia is a tradition like this! 😀 I never heared something like this beffore and never saw anything like it.
I think the log one is my favorite, lol! They're so cute!
Hmmm… what about "Mahri Leuwt" in the meaning of "creepy Poeple" (Leuwt=People as in German it has become Leute).
"Mahri" could refer to "creepy" as it has evolved to "Mahr" or "(Night)-mare". Maybe some christians gave that Name to a rite they did not understand?
i don't know if this is wierd or not but in Norway we celebrate Christmas at december 24th
I'm Ukrainian and I hear about spider web on the Christmas tree for the first time. Where did get this fact from?
omg ur to sexy for me
Mari Lwyd……..ah….ah…….EVIL! Seriously, I would just pretend I'm not home.
