Simply taking a look at one of the many Christmas-themed software packages from the mid-90s filled with random junk that the publisher had lying around. Holiday games, labels, clipart, fonts, screensavers, a MIDI jukebox, a t-shirt designer and more! Even a cassette tape, ooh.

God I love everything about this video.
@LGR You could auction this t-shirt for charty (maybe you did?)
17:12 I laughed so hard at this graphic and Clint's reaction 😂😂😂
Hahaha thanks 👍
that face is creepy
This is the exact sort of things your Grandparents would get you for Christmas and you would use on Christmas Day and never again
Those Xmas midi files. All the right notes but not necessarily in the right order 😅
This was an absolutely amazing experience. 😂😂😂
The tshirt portion made me laugh out loud in a way that i have not laughed in some time. So good lol. Love the content man!
World peace…. it could happen 😀
Sonnta Claus.

"Oh no, that made it phenomenally worse!"
Seeing this video actually means a lot to me. I forgot how silly this game was but I was also extremely young when I played it on the computer – mid 90s. I remember by the time I was 11 or close to it that this game would no longer run on the newer operating systems – XP I think. For years (now I’m 31), I had hoped somebody would post a video just so I could see it again because I could not remember the games exactly. I had not seen any videos when I checked in the past. This is the first one.
I did not remember there was anything other than games. I remember landing Santa on the roof, dropping the presents boxes with the sharks, and the squirrel. I did not see it in the video, but I think if you played in 2 player mode that the second player Santa was actually dressed in green rather than red. Thank you for posting this because it actually means a lot to me and brings back very good memories. 👍
Rib Bitt – king frog
golf
it's not a game,
it's a disease.
This looks like it could be a Cinco software pack from Tim and Eric. A f*ckn cassette tape that comes with a "CD-ROM" lol.
This video has become one of my favorite Christmas tradish 😂
“Do you want thigh meat, or breast meat?”
“Give me the Rib Bitt.”
“Why did you pronounce that with two T’s?”
Every Christmas, when I put the decorations up, I always have to listen to my traditional "putting-up-the-decorations" music: Two Christmas MIDI files from 1997 XD.
🙁

Making everything annoying since 1790. 🙁
This is possibly my favorite LGR Christmas video ever. I've never laughed so hard at one of these.
The included utility software looks like its Windows 3.1 software coded in Borland C++ with there gui shell extensions that's where those buttons with extra graphics come from. The file dialog only showing DOS file names is also a sign it's16-bit software. The games they likely got off Usenet and BBS servers
Whoever made this product truly didn't care about what they were doing. These are great finds for people in your situation, but imagine actually buying this for yourself back in the 90's expecting a genuinely good product? lol what a mess. Great video, by the way. I love the shirt, you should wear it every Holiday season.
I legit would wear that world peace shirt no lie.
This is wonderfully warming comfort content covering crap kinda hits me in the frosty festive feels 😀
The midi files made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the smile
Santa Squirrel is just a reskin of Walnuts by the same two guys Lowe & Steadle.
This shirts so fit the sort of weridcore and cursed images vibe and this shovelware brought it too us they were ahead of their time
somebody learned how to modify the flying windows screensaver and had fun
…am I really the only one who would love to have his own „Rib Bitt T-Shirt“ – T-Shirt?
Ever tried sending in those 30-year-old subscription cards to see what would happen?
I know it's been a year or so since this video, but I've finally checked the out the contents of the disc. Holy nuts the clip art is so bizarre. It's like somebody had money to get Adobe Illustrator and create unusually weird and "jaded?" clip art. It's Ninja Nanny levels of bad.
please start selling merch with the final product of that tshirt. Screw ups and all. I want one.
Dude, I have a "500 True-Type fonts for Windows" CD-ROM from like that time, and includes that exact Thumbs program, but it was made by "CrystalVision Software" (which had a very 90s website until 2016, and it's no longer active). The fonts are mostly great, tho.
I'd of been more cautious pressing preview on a screensaver that's called "Andy Cane", you can luckily edit Andy's "cane" out after filming but your eyes will never forget.
Scrooge Squirrel is a skinned version of Walnut. I played the original game from a 100 games CD
