Loving all of your Christmas content 🎄 more more more please ❤
Is there any practical tips rather than just talking abt cost and outlay plz?
Bruh is not even Halloween
Love this video and tips. Last few years in my family we buy presets for the kids but between the adults, we just do secret Santa with a £15 budget. It makes things so much more manageable. As you say it's just not worth the financial stress for one day
I think. Ring organized and aware is the best tip of all!! TY
I love Christmas it’s my favourite time of the year. I start January 😅 I wouldn’t be able to afford Christmas if I didn’t start early. We love giving in our house . Xxxx
I'm not a Christmas person but my sister is and i absolutely love your Christmas videos because it helps us both enjoy Christmas without breaking the bank! Thank you for your help!!
Great video cheers! T shirt details please Lara x
After seeing my new energy bill, all I have is anxiety when I think all the Christmas expenses. Don't know whether to cry or what…
I have 3 adult kids and 4 grandkids from age 4 months to 12 years in age. I do spoil the grandkids at xmas and start buying for xmas the day after boxing day. Decided to buy a tablet each for the 2 eldest grandkids and got a bargain on amazon prime day.. 2 tablets that were each £149.99 reduced to £94.99 each. I know it is a lot of money but i normally spend around £130 on each of the grandkids. Last xmas for my daughters i made up hampers from the cheap shops.. one was a pamper hamper a la poundland and the other a baking hamper from Lidl items.
A must share; I am in New Zealand still incredibly helpful and great tips, ideas and advice. Love it!
Loved yours and Mr Carringtons thrift gift exchange last year! Would also love a video with Louise, Brogan and Katie, maybe a come shop with us around home sense or b and m as you ladies look like you have the most fun, or a vlog mooching around London and seeing the Christmas decorations xxx
Love this 😊 do you have any tips on buying for people who dont need anything and can afford what they want. Trying to avoid restaurant vouchers etc
I am excited here 🙋
Definitely thrifty gifting
Nice to see I am not alone HoHoHo, I have brought some presents in the January sales at the start of this year and brought a present for a close family member on Friday. My husband has also agreed that it is time to cut back on all the presents we buy for people, I am hoping this will help to take the pressure off us and them. Like you say it's not just the cost of gifts it's the food as well if you are hosting which we are this year. That said I LOVE Christmas and enjoy spending the day with our family, that's what is important to myself. Good Luck everyone, there are bargains out there to be had 🙂
Thank you Lara this is perfect for me 😊.We are having to have a very tight budget this year with a lot going on in our family and not enough money coming in.I like the idea of finding things second hand and in cheaper ways .Also tips and tricks on extra income and selling things quickly.Thank you for all your helpful ideas .
As a now cash envelope stuffer, I have saved & bought all the Christmas pressies for my kids. I’ve also started getting Christmas frozen food I aim to be finished the end of the month! Last year I went into debt, this year I found the cash envelope system. As a single mum it’s been invaluable xx
I think more people should be more organised it's only 3 payments cos let's face it December is for the food shop I've already bought 3 🎁 x
I love organising xx
Delighted to see this video 🥰🥰 like most I’ve be preparing early. I’ve been putting aside money from items sold on eBay and Vinted towards a Christmas fund ….. and also like another viewer mentioned lookout for prezzies on these sites too 😬
Hi sweetie thanks love these sooooo helpful x
We use sinking funds to help us stay on top of things financially at Christmas time.🎄 I'd love to do the thrifting gift exchange with you xx
I’ve been waiting for this one!!! 😁
I have bought a few bits when on sale I find toys really easy to buy when I see a good offer, have bought some comedy tickets for my brother as love getting experiences rather than things 😊
Good timing I just bought 6 bottles of wine for X-mass present for my friends 😉 The worst part for me is planning for X-mass food and fund activity – Like before X-mass drinks with friends and collogue I feel bad to say NO to them. But the prices are crazy…
Yas!! Christmas content for the win ❤️👍☃️🎁🎄🎅
I know someone that regifts I think that is done a lot I’ve given stuff to charity I haven’t wanted x
I love this Lara ❤️ I don't have any children, but do have 2 Nieces and 2 Nephews. It's only me and their parents that get them gifts, not a big family at all. I buy all year and have a routine with their presents now.
– Something they want
– Something they need
– Something to wear
– Something to read
This year they needed new dressing gowns and slippers. I've brought second hand books off vinted and will wait closer to , to ask them what they want as it changes quite dramatically over the months 🤣
I love the idea of a Christmas food box, I'd be interested to see a video to know what kind of foods to buy and keep.
I was really poorly last year over Christmas due to the virus. I'm so thankful I leave nothing last minute , the year before that we were locked down and it seemed everyone was panic shopping where I had everything brought and wrapped by November. I have a December birthday so like to be done super early! Xx
So glad to see this series!
I shop a lot in charity shops throughout the year and whenever I see a present type item like a candle in its original packaging etc I stockpile it away to use as Christmas gifts. Saves time and money.
Great idea on the teacher present I’m going to do that this year for sure.
I've been buying bits since July, and I always get cards, wrapping paper etc from sainsburys in the January sales! I've been buying things in the next sales for my nephews and daughter. The kids are bought for, and the adults will get baked goods in jars this year ☺️ it's my daughters first christmas so I know we will spend more seeing santa and doing more festive things as a family 🥰 which I'm more than happy to spend on and will budget extra for x
I have never done this before but my daughter is getting married in December , so I bought all my Xmas gifts in the summer sale – worked out I saved 50% overall – love your channel
Love this series already ❤️
I have started buying gifts – I buy them throughout the year and have made quite a dent in my list already.
I think it is your duty to the nation to do the Mince Pie Challenge 2022!!! I too have started “testing “ mince pies early. We have to get this right…. 😂❤
So excited for your Christmas series.
I have been following your channel for a while from NZ and we are actually moving back to the UK at the beginning of November to be closer to family so I can't wait to put in to action more things I have learnt from you – like the Cashback apps.
It will be a tight turn around with the move and Christmas but hopefully if I have lists, budget and money put aside prior to the move the actual shopping for the presents should be easy.
So excited for my First Christmas in the UK, with family, in 13 years and extremely excited to be closer to family, since having my son 3 years ago the distance has been hard. ❤️
Yaayyy!!! I'm HERE for the Christmas prep!!!!
You can't be serious!..it's September! I am frugal but this ideology is ridiculous.. but I understand this is about making money for you.
Hi lara this weirdly doesn't feel too early, we do big monthly shop n start getting food n drink from October and I've got some cards n presents wrote out n wrapped as i go so u haven't got loads to do together x
