In my Swedish American Family, we also open our gifts at night on Christmas Eve. We still put stockings on the Chimney and put little gifts in them so they also get something on Christmas morning. and so they celebrate Christmas twice.
Bescherung fuer die Kinder mit der Christkindglocke? ❤❤❤❤
Great piece! There's so much about Christmas that people don't know; they just celebrate it because others do! That's why I did a video about it this year!

In my (German) family. We open gifts at night on Christmas eve, rather than the morning. We also sing songs before anyone’s allowed to open their gifts.
Conveniently, it helps with splitting Christmas for our American in-laws
