Which movie gets you excited for the holidays? Let us know!
Wheres die hard, fred claus and harold and kumar christmas???? Those are my favorites
18:57 but that cookie down. Now
Love Actually is overrated
HOME ALONE 2
If you believe you know you still hear that bell ring , no matter how old you are ❤
What about Christmas with the Kranks?
Love actually deserved better
Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Elf, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone, Santa Clause, How the Grinch Stole the Christmas, A Year Without Santa, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Christmas Story.
Elf is the worst. Will Ferrell was not funny. Bob Newhart has never been funny. And Ed Asner was the worst Santa ever.
Others among the honorable mentions that I forgot to list were the 1936 Max Fleischer animated short “CHRISTMAS COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR”, Fleischer’s 1948 adaptation of “RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER”, the 1947 Harveytoons short “SANTA’S SURPRISE”, and the Disney Silly Symphony shorts of “SANTA’S WORKSHOP” (1932) and “THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS” (1933).
This list sucks lol a lot is missing!
Who thinks the polar express is actually really good and gets to much disrespect. Maybe just my nostalgia
This is your worst list ever 😮
Nightmare isn’t Christmas, I said what I said
Jingle All The Way deserved to be here.
Home Alone should be number one.
Damn grinch and the Santa clause aren't even in the top ten, those are easily my 2 favorites. And my mom watches A Christmas Story on repeat pretty much all December every year so me and all my siblings have all grown to hate that movie with a burning passion
The Family Man
More honorable mentions:
* Black Christmas (1974)
* Christmas Evil (1981)
* Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)
I really love the movie Klaus!

My favorite one is I'll be home for Christmas with Jonathan Taylor Thomas
This is so wrong, inaccurate and disrespectful!!!!
I watch Mojo top tens all the time, but after watching this and searching high and low in the comments, it is mind boggling that this post really has people believing that there are 20 Christmas movies better than a movie that is older than any movie on this top ten list!!! Mojo needs to do a better information gathering process! In 1934, there was a movie called “Babes in Toy Land” also known as “March of the Wooden Soldiers” featuring the most successful comedic duo of all time with Laurel & Hardy, it also featured many of the Mother Goose characters like the Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe, Little Bo Peep, Tom Tom the Piper’s Son, the Three Little Pigs, the Cat & the Fiddle and many others… it also introduced Mickey Mouse which was later purchased by Walt Disney, a movie with Santa Claus, the Elves, and many characters living in Toy Land. Ever since I was a child, this movie would come on television yearly during Thanksgiving and the holiday season! I have a hard time finding 5 Christmas movies better than this one, let alone 20! And to think it didn’t even get an honorable mention!
Do your research and please let me know if I am wrong in my assessment!

watch Mojo top tens of whatever, but after watching this and searching high and low in the comments, it is mind boggling that this lost really has people believing that there are 20 movies better than the a movie that would be the oldest on this top ten list!!! In starting feel like Mojo is suspect in the information gathering! Let's not forget the biblical Christmas movies such as "the nativity" ❤
Who else here trying to find old skool Christmas movies to watch? Home Alone is the best Christmas movie.
Dec 2023
home alone i watch it all year around 🥹
No, the best christmas movie is home alone
I thought I would put some random suggestions from over the pond for everyone. 1) Rupert the bear (All Christmas episodes from the 90s) 2) The Snowman / Father Christmas (1982). 3) Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean. Enjoy!
Well, first of all, anything with Will Ferrell and "best anything" is an oxymoron. This one hit wonder is a brutal actor and has made a career out of playing adolescent or under privileged rejects. Home Alone and The Apartment fit into the same category as Die Hard (takes place at Christmas time but not really Christmas themed) Could have changed either film to the middle of the summer and the plot does not change. The others are arbitrary and could go in any order. All classics
Perhaps two lesser known Christmas films that I like are "The Shop Around the Corner, 1940" and "Dest Set, 1957"
"The Shop Around the Corner" is a 1940 American romantic comedy film produced and directed by Ernst Lubitsch and starring Margaret Sullavan, James Stewart and Frank Morgan.
"Desk Set" is a 1957 American romantic comedy film directed by Walter Lang and starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Gig Young and Joan Blondell.
Jingle all the way is an honorable mention, but no Ernest saves Christmas?
In my opinion, the Patrick Stewart version of a Christmas Carol is the best reincarnation of the classic. Also disappointed that the Rankin Bass version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town didn't make the list.
Elf ranked so high is where you lost me. Totally overrated movie.
Eyes Wide Shut
You have Bad Santa but Die Hard is a no go? Come on, the guy saves the day, stops the terrorists, and gets back with his wife and kids just in time for christmas. Women just don't like the method but guys do!
I would also bring in I’ll be home for Christmas & Christmas with the kranks
Elf is number one imo
