🎄Iceland Christmas Vlog Day 1 🎄
🥳 I’m kicking off the first day, out of 24, days of sharing about Christmas traditions in Iceland with talking about a fruit that holds a special place in Icelander’s hearts during this holiday season.
🍊It’s incredible how many mandarins are sold just in a couple of months during Christmas in Iceland.
🍻Make sure to check out my stories because I will also be sharing the Icelandic beer that I try every day for the 24 days in December from Bjórland.is.
✅ Is there a unique fruit that you eat during the holiday season? Let me know in the comments.

In the fifties I got a small orange in my Christmas stocking along with a colouring book the stocking was one of dad’s work stockings that my Grammie knitted for him oops nearly forgot to mention the small bag of penny candy back in the day when three pieces of some of the candy cost a penny . Thank you for taking me on a short trip to my past good grief my Grampy HoHo (his nickname that all his grandchildren called him because he actually laughed like Santa) he would give dimes to his grandchildren to buy a bottle of soda pop and a tiny paper bag of penny candy. Don’t tell the others I as the eldest granddaughter got 15 cents and had enough to buy a bag of chips too. There has been some inflation since the Jurassic era🤷🏼♀️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦👍👍👍🍀🌟🖖🖖🖖😘💞💕💞👋🙋🏼♀️👋

Cute sweater😂
At least we will get something to be glued in watching you 🥰🥰🥰
We always got mandarins in our stockings! (I'm American) Maybe that was to make sure we ate something besides candy canes and chocolate for breakfast. 😀
You are just glowing now!
Do Icelanders take vitamin D supplements because of the darkness?
Oranges were a special treat at Christmas in Ohio when I was growing up. I think maybe trucks did not ply the highways as they do now.
