Of course Die Hard is a Christmas movie! 🎄
This video hit the spot. You’re the best!!
Christmas vacation is a must at our house.
Elf came out when I was in middle school(?) But the day before Christmas break when teachers didn't want to do anything either, they gave us a choice of movies and for YEARS everyone chose this movie for over half my classes. It really killed this movie for me. It's a good movie, but when you're forced to watch it 5 times a day it loses its charm.
such a fun video!!!
Wife and I watched "The Santa Clause" trilogy this year. We rank the second as the best of the series, but skipping the third entirely is probably the right play.
SO TRUE about 80s film makers not holding back on movies that were scary for kids …. which is probably why I love horror so much 🤔🤣 And I love anything Tim Burton – so I agree with your Burton choices. Nightmare Before Christmas can be watched during BOTH holidays 😉 Great Christmas movie list.
Edward Scissorhands and Die Hard are most definitely Christmas movies!!!!
I love all three Santa Clause movies. I know they are hit or miss for a lot of people but there’s just something about them for me.
Rudolph scared the pants off me when I was little. That dang stop motion yeti…😂
I listen to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack all year round – especially the Nightmare Revisited album! Marilyn Manson's This is Halloween and Korn's Kidnap the Sandy Claws are just amazing – but the whole album is really good. Hope you had a great Christmas!
I agree with most of this list Mike with one exception, I would replace Love Actually with a Charlie Brown Christmas, but hey to each their own.
My mom’s favorite Christmas movie was The Long Kiss Goodnight. Another one like Die Hard.
I’m not a fan of Christmas movies but will always watch A Christmas Carol, Krampus and Gremlins.
That's it! I am buying you a pink bunny outfit. Just kidding. lol
Home Alone all the way for me. That Old Man Marley subplot gets me every time.
Batman Returns would be on my list also Lethal Weapon.
Here are my top five favorite Christmas movies
Scrooge 1970
Krampus 2015
Black Christmas 1974
The Nutcracker 1985
Rise of the Guardians 2012
Merry Christmas Mike! Thank you for all the videos this year, you've helped me feel connected and less alone im the world through this community. Die hard is absolutely a Christmas movie.
The more I watch Christmas Vacation, the more I realize I'm turning into Uncle Lewis 🤣
Great choices! When I was a kid we LOVED The Night They Saved Christmas. It was a made for TV movie but it was great!
Surprised at no Polar Express.
Christmas Vacation is my #1. I watch it while wrapping presents every year! It was the exact perfect length this year! Last piece of tape at the end of the credits.
Lots of those I don’t love…but I don’t love Christmas movies in general. Loved seeing Die Hard, Gremlins, and Edward Scissor Hands on your list!
Ah, Gremlins. The Christmas movie which kids were banned from seeing here in the UK as the powers that be decided it should get a 15 certificate. Genius…
I did the only decent thing and bought the novelisation – not the children's version, the adult one. The bookshop owner was completely horrified. Another step on the path to Stephen King about four years later 🙂
And two others for my top three: The Muppet Christmas Carol and Young Sherlock Holmes.
I try to watch white Christmas every Christmas Eve.
👍👍👍
Scissorhands is a nice pick. Anytime you have someone stapling fake snow to their roof, that's a Christmas movie! My off-beat pick would be Eyes Wide Shut.
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal.
I'm of the opinion that a Christmastime setting does not mean it's a Christmas movie. My favorites are the old animated ones like Rudolph and the Grinch.
A Christmas Story is the greatest. You nailed it Mike, once again our tastes align!
One of my favorite Christmas movies is A Mom for Christmas
I've never sat through Its a Wonderful Life all the way. The original Miracle on 34th Street is one of my favorites tho.
